Gilles VG Beautiful piece. Plenty of Jóhann Jóhannsson vibes. Thanks for sharing this.

somejuan0 Wandering through life and being intentional. In a sense, disappearing and going inward. A state of inner being. A state of complexity where duality does not exist. Where peace does exist. Finding the pivotal and existential fragments. Every fiber of our being brought forth to be conscious of what is before our eyes. What is seen and not seen. SOTL was introduced to me through AWVFTS. Lend your ears to the graceful music. Sit with it. Sit with the self. Favorite track: How to Disappear Inside a Thirty Piece Orchestra.

Brian James We live through moments in history whether global or personal. It’s hard to anticipate new SOTL as the last 2 albums were such pivotal soundtracks to my existence for so long how can they possibly follow them up? I’m in a strangely ambivalent state where my curiosity and appetite are dwarfed by my fear and dread that “what if it’s just okay?” The weight of expectation is like the final scenes outside the room in “Stalker” dare I listen? Or I should I leave alone? Favorite track: How to Disappear Inside a Thirty Piece Orchestra.

about

‘How To Disappear Inside A Thirty Piece Orchestra’, was recorded in Budapest in 2014. It is an excerpt from the first recording of the Stars of the Lid follow up to ‘And Their Refinement of the Decline’. Subsequently, this piece was abandoned and left in the lurch as time elapsed. After some contemplation, Adam is letting the world have a taste of what could have never been, and what is possibly yet to come.
